I'm considering installing some DryRod damp proofing rods in the external wall of the living room in my Victorian end of terrace. However, the installation instuctions require 12mm wide and 180mm deep holes to be drilled every 12cm into the mortar. I'm a bit concerned that this would start to undermine the strength of the wall. Am I worrying unnecessarily?
