Damp Seal Paint

I've got some old damp patches on my wall in my kitchen which I need to treat. I was looking at options and found Polycell Damp Seal paint.

Has anyone used this or would you recommend using white undercoat?

As long as the problems that actually caused the damp in the first place has been sorted. A couple of thinned down coats of oil based undercoat should do the trick.

Cheaper too.
