Went round to a tenants today and obvious signs of damp....

She doesn't want the upset of having all the plaster hacked off so what are the alternatives other than a bodge job with damp seal?

She wants to re-decorate as well.

she could start by opening a window or two occasionally!!
or buy a dehumidifier
tenants never give a toss about the property even when condensation is pouring of the windows and walls!

In her defense, I'm pretty confident it's not a condensation issue. We've had those before(next door) and this is definitely damp.

Not a single sign of surface mould anywhere and or wet walls.

A lot of the issues in these houses are down to salt coming out of the bricks.
