Danfoss TRV stuck pin

Hi, I have been looking at posts for a few days trying to find out how to remove the head so I can try to get the pin moving again - but have had absolutely no luck with anything I've tried.

I'm not sure if that's a tiny grub screw in the third photo, with either d06 or 90p written next to it?

If anyone could let me know how to get at the pin I would be very grateful as it is getting freezing at night!!

No luck there though, none of the black bits will budge a millimetre.

have you tryed an allen key is the "grub screw"

The head is removed by loosening the allen key grub screw and pulling head away from body. You can remove the brass bush that houses the stuck pin without draining down the system. Slacken it off a small amount of water will come out then seal remove pin clean and grease with silicon grease and refit

Thanks for the info - I will give the allen key a try, didn't have any on me today.
Any suggestions for an alternative to silicon grease? I tried finding this in some hardware shops with zero luck - they tried to sell me silicon sealant and car engine grease despite me explaining what I needed it for!!

Go to Heat Spares in Helen Street Goven for your silicon grease or as Kev posted any plumbers merchants

The actual valve seating also sticks on these not just the pin so after doing what gasinary says
look where you have just took pin from in the valve and in middle is little brass bit wth a hole in it flick it with electricians screwdriver and this will free it of its seating . tiny bit of water will come out
