Hello,
apologies if this seems a daft question. We have recently fitted beech block worktops and I am treating them with Danish Oil. I am using a Colron natural one. Not wishing to run out I bought another tin but this time was in a different shop so bought the Rustins version. Are all makes of danish oil the same ? My husband thinks we should continue with the Colron as they might be different formulations. The Rustins tells you to wipe off the excess but the Colron one does not (it dries very quickly so after 10 minutes there is no excess) which makes me think he may be right. Any suggestions ?
Thank you

It's always sensible to stick with the same product throughout. This is especially the case with Danish Oil - manufacturers all have their own formulation and some are vastly different to others.

Hope this helps

Thank you for the reply. Looks like hubby is right. I shall return the Rustins oil and stick with the Colron. The work tops look wonderful - now I just have to persuade the rest of the family not to be terrified of using them !
