Hello all, apologies if this appears twice, fist time didn't seem to post properly.

I have take ndelivery of dark beech kitchen worktops from wickes, i was going to danish oil them (rustins or liberon) but it turns out they have already had two coats of linseed oil before delivery.

Obviously i need to apply some more coats before and after installation. So can i apply danish oil over linseed or will i end up in a total mess.

Any help or advice greatly appreciated.

Suppliers of hardwood tops normally supply a maintenance kit with the top.

Yes, you can use Danish over Linseed. But it will take a while to dry if the Linseed has only been applied a short time before the Danish.
