OK I think I may have a blocked flue. The boiler is in my kitchen and has a flue going outside, up through the conservatory and out of the roof.

Over the last week I've noticed a large amount of condensation and dark areas around the top of the boiler. Over the last couple of days I've had the windows and doors open all day/night and been freezing my nuts off. It's a Stelrad Ideal W2000 boiler.

Is it possible for me to clear the flue myself? Just asking before I 'get a man in' to do it...

the w2000 is a old conventional flued boiler, only advice i can give is turn it off and have it inspected by a registered competent installer, sorry :( good reliable boilers simple to repair but need regular maintenance due to age.
