I've papered walls a few times before and I'm reasonably confident with the general technique. Now, for the first time, I'm going to paper the living room with a pale cream wallpaper on three walls, but with dark, gaudy Laurence Llewellyn Bowen stuff on the other one.

Is it better to do the cream paper first, or the patterned one? Basically which one should I overlap over which?

Do the three walls in the lighter paper first and then do the dark paper last.
