Dead Potterton 80 combi - Help please

It died and the plumber quickly (maybe too quickly) said PCB and quoted £300-400.
Before spending out for a new pcb what else might it be guys/ gals?

It is dead Harry, nothing happening.

There is a fuse on F1 on the modulation control board , has it popped ?

If it’s getting voltage and no fuses have popped, then very likely it’s the pcb.

You can buy exchange refurbished pcb's much cheaper than that.

if it is indeed the PCB not worth fixing new boiler time, honestly surprised it is still going, they were terrible boilers when new never mind now

possibly up to 25 years old I think when they came out

Fixed with a refurb PCB, thanks to all.

Its basically a Puma from the late 90s...a complete dog, most were ripped out 15 years ago.
