I'm renovating my kitchen and have found a few patches where the paint was chipped a little, and I scraped it and a patch came off here and there. But the rest of the pain is still solid and doesn't scrape off.

I can't actually see a few of layers in places, white then pink and yellow!

What's the best thing to do on this situation? I can't scraped back the whole room! But if I just paint over it you'll see it.

I've put a photo for an example

Thanks

That's how you feather the edge, you're basically removing the step from the paint edge to the plaster so you won't get a line when you paint over it.
