hi, intend to screw as many joists as possible but obviously need hangers on ledger, ideally i dont want wrap over for level of boards or cut notches, but as i need a lote the THM230/44 Simpson StrongTie Hangers type much more expensive, any suggestions. Also using 2 times 2 by 6 for beams with approx 2m joists, sensible? Is there an easy way to screw into 1 of twin beam and build other beam with joists screwed in before bolting together worried bit unstable, shold i screw one side and even more joists on other?
cheers jon

Try Amazon, B&Q, Toolstation.

Sorry I couldn't understand the question.

Thanks reading it nor can I. I’m building deck 6m wide from house. intend to build wall at front (slope) approx 1.2m high. intend beams 2m apart so ledger 2m beam 2m wall. Rather screw than hangers but realise hangers along ledger so .Firstly which hangers? Secondly do I need to double up 6 by 2 beams with joist length about 2 m, thirdly if I double up beams is there a trick to building apart so I can screw both sets of joists and then bolt beams together? another question was going to build front wall out of 7.3 blocks laid flat (only holding up about 500 mm slope) as just realised weight of block could I build wall or top bit out of 3.6 n blocks? Hope this is clearer? Any advice appreciated.
