I was wondering wether doing this would be a suitable solution or pointless.
I need to build a raised deck around the side of my house, the reason I need it to be raised is because we both would prefer it to be level with the patios without the needs of steps.
As I understand to comply with building regs & to stop rising damp the deck must be 150mm below the DPC, with the house being edwardian I'm not sure if it has one ! I do know these houses where built double skin but without a cavity.
So would I be able to use an injection damp proof kit 150mm above the deck & still comply with Regs & stop the potential damp ?
Thanks in Advance.
