I know this has been asked several times before but I haven't seen one for a few years and wondered if these are still the best screws for external decking.
The deck is a 20mm thick Iroko board fixed into timber bearers.
Are these -> > LINK < the best screws to use?
Is 50mm the correct length and 5.0 the preferred gauge?
I have 80 boards 4m long to fix. I plan to fix them to each joist @ 400 centers. I assume you fix both sides at each joist?
If this is the case I will need approx 1600 screws (80x10x2)
Where is the best place to buy these in this sort of quantity? 100/200 boxes are going to be V expensive.
