Hi All

New to Forum, but have got a bit of a dilemma. I have applied decking stain to my decking some years ago and have applies around 4 coats in total. however over the last year it has started to flake and peel off in some areas. looks a mess. can anyone suggest a remover to take off the remainder so i can start afresh ?? :(

I dont know about total removal, but I have recently (using a strong decking/mold cleaner - basically bleachy stuff) completely scrubbed ours
using a scrubbing brush & some old knees found lying around.

Took me many hours but eventually got it very clean & good enough to recoat with new stain.

An el cheapo pressure washer did little other than remove mud & get me all wet! scrubbing brush & elbow grease worked best.

Thanks for the info

i want to totaly remove all the decking stain and sealer and then go for a decking oil which i hope will look betterand last a lot longer :D

Well, it was rather bleached once I had finished :D
