Decking stain.

Hi guys,
My decking has been oiled last year and to be honest looks crap now and it wasn't cheap and I am now thinking about staining it a colour to cover the patchy oil. Will stain cover work that's been oiled and if so any ideas what to go for.

A stain will not take well over previously oiled wood. You would need to sand it thouroughly to be sure of a good even coverage.
