decking

One answer I have seen regularly is to stretch and fix Chicken Wire over the timber. does make it almost slip proof, but do not fall on it?

The best thing is to minimise the slipperiness of the decking in the first place by not using grooved boards (they are worse), not using pressure-treated softwood. Keep it clean, and you should have no problems - the only place you might want special anti-slip measures would be ramps, and possibly steps.
