Hello All
Although this is my first post, I'm an avid follower of this site and find the posts and responses fascinating!
I'm getting some skirting laid in my bedroom and the prospective tradesperson is proposing to fill the gap between the walls and skirting with silicone. My question is is that sufficient or should he use decorator's caulk?
My walls are finished to approx 6" from the floorboards and probably aren't true (not sure if that's the correct term). The skirting will be laid on laminate; it will be primed and painted in eggshell white.
Is my proposed approach the correct one?
Appreciate any advice given.
