I live in a Terrace built in the 1800s , I've attached a picture of the decorative bricks under the eaves , I've lived here for 25 years and have noticed over that time that the fronts of these bricks are starting the crumble , also more of a concern they are becoming misaligned , I'm assuming that these bricks were mortared in a some point , however I cannot find any evidence of this so I have two questions that I would like help with please

Are these bricks still available ?

Where has the mortar gone? , I'm assuming that these bricks should be fixed? , they are working their way forward , I can literally pull them forward .

Oh yeah !

If you can't find any replacement bricks in the reclamation yards, firms like Bulmer Bricks can make them for you.
