Delonghi ESS 601 Hob Prob..

I have no full power on all for ceramic hobs on my Delonghi ESS 601.
The knobs have 6 power settings but only the first 4 work when i switch to settings 5 & 6 the hobs switch off as if they have no power.
Is this a terminal prob or could it just a part that needs replaceing i feel confident to have a go myself but need a pointer to how to fix the prob.
