Posters often post and then edit a few seconds later. I do it myself. Sometimes somebody jumps in and responds immediately. It can get very confusing. Or it can be to do do with the way the system saves drafts.
I would imagine that is all that has happened here. No big deal.
It wasn't about his grammar, it was about his deceitful accusation of me editing his post.
a. I can't do that, only he, or a mod can edit his post.
b. he obviously edited it because the system recorded his edit.
c. I quoted his post exactly as it was written by him, before he edited it himself.
and then he had the audacious, irresponsible and underhanded dishonesty to accuse me of editing his posts.
The dog's a liar.
Typos are understandable and forgivable. Intentional deceitful accusations to cover one's own inadequacies is never forgivable, nor excusable.
I was considering giving him a little time to reconsider, then if he didn't acknowledge his error, I'd report him for falsely accusing me of a serious misdemeanor. But he seems to have doubled-down on his deceit.
Would that be the first time that someone has been reported for falsely accusing another of altering their quotes, I wonder.
