After some initial advice seeking here I thought it would be useful for me to share the progress of the project to others, hopefully to provide an insight into how it is done and some confidence building for those wanting to tackle this themselves.

So far, the stud-work has almost been completed on 3 of the 4 walls. As you can see the DPC is down and the insulation is gradually being put in. We've used a waterproof membrane on the back.
