Dewalt multi tool DCS355N useless???

So I took the the bit that holds the blade in place apart and gave everything a good clean, tightened everything up and holy crap it works!

I can't believe it took me this long to figure out that something was wrong.

excellent glad you got it sorted
i have a bosch 10,8v and a ryobi 18v and they never miss a beat
and ironically my neighbour who i am helping build his summer house has the same 18v dewalt that you have and i have used it in many times over the last few months but couldnt remember any off the foibles off operation as it worked as expected and was easy to use lol
was going to check tomorrow for any possible areas that could be your problem but no longer needed lol
