Dewalt multi tool 18v

My dewalt multi tool 18v
Is not Oscillating properly when cutting it starts fine then keeps running but not cutting, then if I release pressure then press again it’s cuts , I’m not pressing to hard either.
What’s the repair if anybody knows please?

There should be an eccentric cam on a bearing inside the head which oscillates the tool holder. It has probably failed or broken. I think they sell it as a complete head assembly so will be quite pricey unless you can salvage an old tool from ebay.

i know it sounds daft but as almost all tools have electronics and both tools and batterys have protection systems alway try a different battery and a fully fresh charged battery as first port off call
