dhw lukewarm on potterton 100e

i recently stopped a drip from o ring on potterton puma 100e diverter valve. now i have put it back together my water is luke warm. it is sometimes warmer than others. my central heating is ok. could the valve need changing

yes as i thought the diverter is letting by into the central heating so the hot water isnt getting the heat it needs to get hot enough :cool:

in short new diverter :rolleyes:

Well there shouldn't be ANY ch flow when the hw is on, so the diverter isn't diverting to HW properly. Whether this is due to the wax capsule not working properly, an assembly problem resulting from the dismantling, or leaky seals on the DV, is hard to say.
I'd put a new wax capsule in, carefully, and see if it gets better!
