Is wood still the preferred method for diagonal wind bracing on a cut roof or is there a metal solution? Builders band seems flimsy at 1mm thick, but I was wondering anyway...

Cheers

Theoretically a cut roof even without a purlin does not need wind bracing, however if you wish to be happy, run a 25x100 underside of rafters diagonally from king to king, and opposite direction other side. Okay
