Is it me; or is true that every time our nail biting, unelected, pension-robbing, gold squandering, non-driving, jaw swivelling etc leader needs a bit of help, he chucks somebody a peerage, and hey presto- they're in the cabinet :?:

Politicians making a profit from us peasants, nothing new there then :(

Oxymoron:

Honest politician, polite cabbie, intelligent polic (oops better not)

Could start a new thread of oxymorons?

I note they've all gone quiet about old Fred Goodwin's pension. Snouts in the trough the lot of them.

The 'Welsh windbag' wanted to abolish the lords - he's now got a peerage!

Originally, he was very anti Eurpoean union - so he accepted the post of EU commissioner.

Ain't politics grand!

The Daily Mail reckoned (so it must be true :) ) that him and the mrs have taken the taxpayer for £12 million in salaries, expenses and pension pot. What the hell have they ever achieved for the British taxpayer??

Socialists are always the most decietful hypocrites going
