Looking to have Karndean flooring in kitchen. Floor is currently made up of floor boards in original part of house and concrete screed in extension.
Its effectively all one room now so need to prep the floor ready for covering.
Would it be wise to lay 6mm ply on existing floorboards and the lay SLC on the screed to same level as ply or lay SLC on screed and on top of ply. This would result in roughly 3mm of SLC on ply and 9mm on screed. (Flexible stuff, naturally?
Additionally, anyone know of any training courses in the South East(more specifically Kent) to lay the Karndean or similar? Have laid many standard Polyflor tiles but am lead to believe the luxury vinyl tiles are more complex, especially the borders etc.
