Just wondering if there are any reasons why I can get more channel on one TV than the other when they are both off the same aerial?

lots of factors

it could be different losses in cables, different connectors, more intereference in one location than another or just that some tuners are better than others.

Also i'd suggest doing a factory reset on the tuner that isn't getting all channels. Sometimes they just seem to get confused about the channel lineup.
