Digistat CDR playing up?

I just had to replace the British Gas RC1 unit that was paired with a Digistat CDR I don’t know the makers. I paired them as instructed. I never noticed before because I never just stood there with the airing cupboard open but should the green light stay on at all times? I ask because it is. I thought it only comes on when the timer is on a on position.

Thanks Gordongas. The red light which I thought should flash every few minutes doesn't!. The heating does come on , on timer though. Should I worry?

not working correctly.steady green when demand on .red light flashes every 60 seconds looking for a signal,7 flases when receiving a call to turn on or off.reconnect units
