Digital dash odometer disappeared

Hi

I have a 2002 Astra SRi and a couple of weeks ago the digital dash odometer/ mileage display completely disappeared. There is no other fault with the car. Any thoughts on what it could be? Is there a fuse for this?

It could be something as simple as a blown bulb, this type of display is 'back lit' it should not cost much to repair if you know how to remove the instruments to gain access. Have a word with the garage.

Thanks for the advice. I think you're right as I had a closer look and from a certain angle I can just make out the LCD display so it must be the bulb. I hadn't realised these were backlit.

if like my astra its supposed to be orange in colour yes it is back lit by a lamp.
had same problem with radio display, changed lamp on its service
