Hi

I'd like to wire three 10-watt floodlights into a single dimmer switch (with box, not wall-mounted) that I can then run to a 3-pin plug in a wall socket. I've drawn what I have in mind in the attached pic.

Any advice or pointers on a suitable dimmer switch and / or how to wire up very much appreciated.

Sorry to say - but you cannot dim those lamp units.
They are not dimmable - shown by the icon with the cross over the increasing scale.
Their internal electronics will not allow for dimming.
(6th image, 10th icon).

Wow, good eye for detail!

Don't suppose there's any way around that...?

Nice one - that's very helpful indeed.
Will get stuck into this.
Thanks again!

Today when I need to dim, I use smart bulbs, as said this upload_2022-4-3_15-53-29.png means will not dim, but even when they can finding matched dimming switch and lamp is often a problem, flashing when off, and shimmer when on is all too common.
