i've got a dimmer pull cord for the bathroom but im not sure how it should be wired up. on 1 side it has LOAD and the other IN. i tried it wired up to the IN but it didn't work. is it the LOAD it needs to wired into ?

thanks,

what wires do you have at the switch? is it double pole? (does it have 4 terminals?)

yes it's got a L N on the LOAD and a L N on the IN
and what cores do you have? if its just a live and switched live, connect one to "L load" and the other to "L in".

yes it's just a standard single switch, i'll try that...

thanks...

you may need to wire it as a double pole switch for the dimmer to work correctly ie it may need a neutral
