dimmer question

looking to change some light switches for dimmers but not sure if it can be done.

current setup is light A is switched by 2 switches in diffent corners of the room. one of the switches also has a switch controlling another light (B). can i swap one of the switches for light A for a dimmer switch and leave the other switch as it is (thus leaving it able to switch the other light B)

anything else i should be wary of?

you get a 1 gang 2 way dimmer

the dimmer is suitable for the load (i.e say 300 watts of lights a 250 w dimmer is too small)

the lights are suitable for dimming

the dimmer is not over rated
