Dimmer switch problems

Ericmark, thanks so much for that information. Those instructions are the ones I have at home.

I have now got the lights working as they should. It was the fact that I had the 2 commons linked. Apologies to Flameport for misunderstanding his advice!

Thank you everyone for your help - It's really appreciated.

And yes, I know the dimmers are on the cheap side (although £20+ each isn't dirt cheap) but we're currently renovating 8 rooms so trying to budget and manage as best as we can.

The LAP sockets don't seem too bad but the switches aren't great as the terminal screws are so weak and it's a struggle to get 2 let alone 3 cables into the hole.

The dimmer seems happy with 2x 3.6W LED bulbs - Dims nice and low without flickering or going off.

Best wishes,

Ben
