Has anyone had experience of regularly replacing dimmers? I do a bit of basic minor work in pubs and this one particular site seems to go through them more than others. Varilite 60 - 400 and well within the limits. Could a fluctuating supply damage them?

Is it in a grid switch with all the dimmers next to one another per chance?

What is the load on the dimmers? What type of lamps are they dimming?

Just a standard dimmer. Actually there's about 8 in total. Chandaliers, wall lamps, GU10 ceiling spots. Thinking about it, I don't recall changing ceiling spots dimmer, just the incandescent chandaliers and wall lamp dimmers. I also know the red phase incomer in the street was knackered hence my question about dodgy supply.
