Dimplex OFC1500 Oil Filled Radiator end panel loose

Hi Everyone,
A friend of mine has a Dimplex OFC1500 oil filled radiator, unfortunately she pulled it along by the control panel and now the Cover is just dangling loose, can I just glue.this on or will the glue dry out? Is there a special glue? I’ve looked on Dimplex site and that doesn’t give any details, I’m sure that this has happened to more than one person, I’ll post a picture when I can.

The end cover needs taking off and fixing on again properly. I had a look at the instructions

but it doesn’t show how it’s done. Probably fixing screws somewhere. But a bit of skill will do it, you sound resourceful.
Do not glue it. It will be too hot.

PS if she mistreats an innocent radiator like that, don’t ever let her have a dog!

Thanks, those are the instructions I looked at, I'll print them out and see if that helps, if not maybe a small clip of some kind

It’s got to fit on somehow. You could always call Dimplex support. They are very helpful in my experience n
