Just bought a Dimplex electric panel heater from Dixons.
It's the OFRC20 -- an oil free radiator, 2 kw. Like the oil filled radiators, but it seems to have an heating element inside and vents in the top of the rad. I think it's supposed to be like an oil-filled rad, only "greener"!

The unit is quiet in operation, although not as warm as I expected. But the heating element, or something inside the rad, rattles as I walk past, or if I move the rad on it's castors.
Is this normal?

Thanks
Mike

Could be normal - these heaters usually have a cut out which switches the heater off if knocked over.
The cut out is just a switch, which is only 'on' when the heater is vertical, so it is likely to switch on and off when the heater is moved.
