Hello,
I have bought a part to repair my storage heater so has thermostatic control again. I want someone to look at my pix to see if it looks like the correct part? Key parts for these heaters appear to be;

Thermal Cut-out
Charge Controller
Bi-metal Damper
Limit Accelerator
Limit Stat
+ other functional parts

This is part of the control knob, so how many functions does it serve in the heater?

I believe its to replace the earlier more complicated stat set-up?

This is the wiring diagram for the off peak (there is no on-peak supply).

What model is it you have?

I have just done one of these that looks like the charge controller and safety cutout.

Where did you buy the part, they are very knowledgeable and helpful normally.

What is the part no of the part you brought?

Sorry more questions than answers here really

Martin

If you have ordered it by model number then have a look and see if it fits, it doesn't have the bi-metalic strip for the damper but this will probably just be a case of swopping it from the old system across.

Hi Martin,

XT 9800 A CONVERSION KIT ASSEMBLY.
