diplomat integrated dishwasher ADP8322

Have removed panel, sponged out water as per other posts. On re-starting machine water enters normally but then stops. No fault messages.Machine beeps in pattern of 4 beeps and red light flashes the same.
What do we do now? This machine has hardly been used since being installed in our flat 2 years ago but apparently seemed to work initially.Have read all the posts. Can anyone help or is it engineer time?

Well documented failure. Use the search facility and search for Whirlpool and 4 flashes.
