I have bought a property. With Windows 15 years old. I was planning on replacing the Windows. A window salesman says there's nothing wrong with them, just a clean will do.
I noticed 2 types of seals which I need to replace or clean. One between the frame and the glass window, and the other exterior seal .
Could I replace or clean these? Any suggestions how. Pictures attached.
The internal one is a Qlon gasket.
To change the others you will have to take the glass out and see if a bit pulls out, If it does cut a small 10mm piece off each so you can take sizes. If it doesn't pull out it is probably co-extruded and you fill have a hard time.
Ebay is one of the best places to get gasket as you can get sample packs to try first.
I would personally change them all to black gaskets as the white ones always go manky
