Disable for decorating

I need to remove a pir from the wall and take the front of the main alarm box ( not keypad) in order to decorate in the kitchen . The alarm,is Eurosec CP8L and I know the engineers code. Just unsure what to do, do
I just input the code, do what I need to do then input again when done?

Enter engineer code press no , no , no, untill it says something like system options press yes, take off your pir , do what you need to then go back to keypad and press 0 0 this is the escape key untill it goes back to unset.
