I am putting in a new kitchen and my preference is to have integrated appliances so it looks good. I am aware there is a premium to pay for such appliances and this is fine.

Are there any other disadvantages I should consider before finalising my choice ??

Thanks
Chris

Only servicing it. There is also an advantage, SHOULD you need to replace the unit, you do not have to worry about styling.

Check out the terms and conditions regarding appliance warranties. You may find you have to pay to get the machine removed and refitted even if it goes wrong within the warranty period. This is understandable as repair engineers are not trained joiners and it can take much longer to rebuild your kitchen after getting a machine out than it does to do the actual repair. It once took me 2 hours to do a job, 10 minutes to do the repair + 1hr 50 to remove and refit the appliance.
