I saw that Jamp had this problem. I too have met a similar cowboy, didn't read the instructions or measure the size of the unit and left me with a steam cabinet covered in sealant which has leaked from day 1 and now has really black mould growing behind the sealant that he put on the inside!

I thought that it would be easy to take it apart, clean off sealant and rebuild. Also discovered that he cracked the back of the plastic steam inlet thing and threw a big dollop of sealant on and it has been leaking since it was fitted.

The same man fitted the taps on my double ended bath off centre instead of the place where the bath comes out to accomodate them because he didn't want them directly over the plughole. So I had to buy a new bath too!

I've bought replacement part and I would like to have a go at dismantling it so any advice will be welcomed. (and listened to and taken).

Cheers,

Lindy.
