I hate having to post this as it sounds so lame but, anyway...
My bathroom shaving light has a pull switch that's had its day. I want to have a go at replacing the pull switch (only cost me £1.49) but I need to take the light off the wall first. I've fallen at the first hurdle, though, as I can't shift the two small screws holding the brown and blue wires. My screwdriver seems to be small enough but just jumps out of the slot when I turn it.
Is there a knack? A special type of screwdriver? Do the screws turn the 'other way' (similar to the fan in an oven)? Once you've stopped laughing, any advice would be welcome. Thanks.
