Is it 'allowable' to disconnect a gas cooker yourself if it's a bayonet type connection? I don't know if mine is, but it's got a rubber pipe - does that mean it has? If it is OK to do, what exactly is entailed, and what (specifically) could go wrong?
yes it is ok to disconnect at bayonet, assuming free standing cooker, pull cooker forward to access connection, push up twist and pull. If micropoint simular action.
what could go wrong is, the valve may not seat correctly due to dirt, tough this is rare.
