Need to change the lino flooring in my rental property kitchen but there is a gas cooker there.

I suspect the gas cooker will need disconnecting and moving so the flooring can be laid underneath.

Not sure what sort of gas connection is there.

Do I need to get a gas safe engineer to do the disconnection and reconnection?

It would all depend on how long the cooker is out for, whether the bayonet fitting (if fitted) is letting by and whether the work is diy or at work.

If you can time it so you do it at the same time as the CP12 it'll be way cheaper, since it is a rental it would be very sensible to have a competent person check for pressure drop after you've put the thing back in place.
