Discrete Curtain Batten for Bay Window

I am just finishing off one of the bedrooms to move us into before I start the next. The room faces the road so we need blinds at the window .

Its a bay window so i will need 3 blinds to match the window configuration. I hate curtain battens but i cant see any other way round. The blinds will weigh a bit and the plasterboard wont take a direct fixing.

I was thinking pencil round architrave mitered to follow the window angles painted. Is that as discrete as i am going to get. Adhesive and a few screws into the lathes above will that then take blinds or do i need to go chunkier?

All my blinds are fixed to window frame .

Didn't want to fix into the upvc as they may only be temporary
