Sis has an integrated Neff dishwasher in house she has just moved to. Unfortunately the previous owner fell on the door whilst it was open ( a heavy fall as there are dents on the inside stainless steel). This has resulted in the door not closing and being unable to use it. The hinge and/or the mechanism to which it mounts doesn't operate properly and there is a definite 'jump' when it moves.

All I need to know is - is this likely to be repairable or will this be a write off?

I'm not sure the door itself is damaged so unlikely to need replacing but the hinge mechanism and possibly where that mounts inside the body may be damaged - thoughts please?

A lot depends on how old it is, and therfore what it is worth.

Neff is a Brand Name owned by Boch, so it will be a Bosch machine.

Integrated appliances are extra work to take out and put back. A free-standing machine could be pulled out for repair, or swapped for a new one, in a matter of minutes.
