Hi
I have just had a new kitchen fitted but the dishwasher doesn't quite fit into the void under the counter.
It it feasible to cut away the dot and dab plater board at the back to push the dishwasher back a bit?
Is there something I am missing to this approach?
Cheers
Andy

I fitted a new kitchen and and replaced an 600mm work top with a more expensive 620mm one did it happen the other way around for you,

Years ago my mum had a new washing machine fitted by Miele. It was free standing but it used d door over it to hide it. The rear bulge on the new one extended past the lid by about 20mm. I had to hack away the plaster to fit it.

Are the hoses restricting how far back the machine will go? See if re-routing them solves your problem.

It’s built in the door is about 10 mm proud of adjacent doors
Built in machines are usually sized to fit behind the door.

Look up the measurements fir yours, and the fitting instructions.

Perhaps it was screwed to the adjacent units too far forward, without allowing for the door. If it has not been fixed yet, drag it out and have a look for obstructions behind. It will drag more easily if you wet the floor with furniture polish or WD40.
