Terry. You'll never believe it. After all that fuss I found this in the cupboard next to where the new dishwasher would go. Can you tell me what waste hose would fit this standpipe? I'm guessing that's what the standpipe is for.

Ha ha !! The waste hose just drops into the vertical standpipe ,several inches. Looks like the stand pipe has a cap on top which needs to be removed.
